This charming little town is often called the gateway to Venice, the ‘City of Canals.’ Three kilometres down the road from the terminal (yes, Treviso has its own airport!), the historic town welcomes you with medieval gates, renaissance squares, frescoed churches and ancient waterways.
The Sile and Cagnan rivers circle this town of tiny canals dotted with water-wheels.
Take a walk through the narrow twisty cobbled streets and rose-red bricked arcades or sit down for a treat at the town centre—you are in the hometown of Tiramisu and Prosecco wine. Big brands such as Benetton, Sisley and Lotte Sports Italia are headquartered here too.
