If you’re going, do visit a strawberry farm and learn about the cultivation of this delicate fruit. On the farm, you get to taste delicious treats made from strawberries such as toffees, syrups, fudge, ice creams, whipped creams and jellies.

Strawberries grow happily beside raspberries, mulberries and blueberries here. The region is also known for its superb honey production.

Besides ambling along the fields, you can explore ancient temples, lush green dense forest, waterfalls, hills and valleys. The scenic beauty makes for a blissful two  days that will stimulate your senses.

Notes: The area experiences heavy rainfalls during monsoon season. Post monsoon October and January with the strawberry harvest season in full swing are best times to visit.
