Circulo de Bellas Artes
The terrace atop the Circulo de Bellas Artes is pure gold for catching sunsets. You’ll need to pay a small fee to enter. Once you have soaked in the panoramic views, settle down with a cocktail and watch the sun go down in a burst of wondrous colour.
Temple of Debod
This is an authentic ancient Egyptian temple that was relocated from Egypt to Madrid brick by brick! Now here’s the secret—you need to go behind the structure to get incredible sunset views over the Almudena Cathedral and Casa del Campo park. The hues of the fading light will flood your Instagram gallery with Likes!
Cerro del Tío Pío Park
This is a beautiful green space; a bit distant from the city centre but totally worth the hike for its amazing city views and dramatic sunsets. Located in the area of Puente de Vallecas, which lies in the southern part of Madrid, it makes for a wonderful walking and cycling trail too.
Fun Fact: it is popular as the ‘Park of the Seven Boobs,’ owing to the shape of its peaks.
